As Memorial Day Weekend approaches marking the traditional opening of the summer pool season across the country, a recent study commissioned by USA Swimming and conducted by the University of Memphis exposes some alarming statistics for many of our nation’s children.

The new site features a radically revamped design, vastly improved navigation and an abundance of video features. Of course, the site will continue to offer training resources, event information, unique content and times for our 300,000 members.

In an attempt to halt the deterioration of college swimming nationwide, the Duquesne men’s swimming team, parents, alumni and students have developed the “Go for 5” initiative, a campaign designed to save one program at a time, starting with the Duquesne men’s team.

Sara Nicponski still finds it difficult to believe that she's on the U.S. National Team. It's not a question of whether or not she belongs on the team – she knows she's proven that she does. It's more about who else is on the team and what they've accomplished that's a bit daunting for her.
